A Lovely Night for a Parade!

With sail hoisted, we're getting ready to ride in the 29th Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade!

Saturday night was the 29th Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade! This was the first parade any of us had been a part of, let alone gotten to ride on a float in, so it was a much-anticipated event by the three of us!

Rather than blather on and on about it, I am just going to say this: A fantastic time was had by all, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Below are a few shots from the time before and during the parade itself. Many thanks to my friend Ambyr for capturing so many great shots of us during event! If you like Ambyr’s work as much as I do, check out more of it on her website, Free Range Photography.

On with the show… I mean, pictures. Again, all the thanks goes out to Meggie Lou & Brothers, Too! (our sponsor), Coastal Cuties (my mom/ parent group), and our local chapter of Stroller Strides! Without the joint effort of these three awesome organizations, none of this would have been possible!

Enjoy, and Happy Holidays!

A close-up of some of the kids' artwork, which incorporates a variety of recycled materials. This year's parade theme was "A Green Christmas: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle." Photo credit: Ambyr Hardy.
