T turns six this coming Friday, but we started partying Saturday!

Five more days of being five! Have a great birthday week, T!

Aw, T, after we counted it up, you were just four cents short of $6 for your 6th birthday change grab! But still, not too shabby!

We kicked it off at JoePa and Memaw’s with a birthday lunch and cake-ice cream celebration, along with the traditional change bucket grab. He’s getting better and better with that as he gets older. Maybe it’s because those little hands aren’t as little as they once were (sniff).

And T takes the celebration to school this week, too! For the next few days, T’s name will be posted on the school-wide Birthday Banner! Yep, I’m a sucker at giving the school’s PTA a small donation for such things. But let me just tell you (and justify it to myself and especially to C) that it was well worth the small cost to see the happy smile on his cute little face. He’s also excited to show all of his friends when they go to lunch as the banner hangs on the wall outside “the caf” (and how cute is it they all call it the caf?!).
