Today is Monday July 15, 2013… which means there’s just more than two weeks left to vote for “Real Mom Time” in the Circle of Moms Top 25 So Cal Mom Bloggers contest!

I would have written up a post earlier to explain what was going on in regards to this contest, but I’ve been away for a week. Thanks to each of you who’ve already voted from seeing the badge on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. Now for a better explanation of what’s going on and why I am feverishly advertising and promoting myself (which I don’t typically do, honest, and those of you who’ve been around a while know I am telling the truth there)… I entered this contest last year and got to #27; so close, but just not enough votes to crack the top 25 (argh!). But this year, a kind RMT’er re-nominated me for this honor; to whomever you are, thank you! Now, let’s all make sure that nomination wasn’t in vain!

You can help me avoid another near-miss by going here and clicking the heart to vote for me once-daily (every 24 hours) through Tuesday July 30, 2013. You can vote on your phone, tablet, or computer, on wi-fi or on the network (or any combination of those); or, you can click-through the pink badge above, find me, see where I stand in the rankings at this time, and vote there (as of Sunday evening I was around #16 with 38 votes). I really need daily votes from all of you to make sure I stay in the top 25 as many of the top vote-getters right now have 100+ votes (sometimes ending the contest with 1000+ votes!).

OK in regular speak, basically I’d get some minor bragging rights along with a cute little badge (similar to the one above) that I can place onto my blog. I’ll also receive expanded reach within the Circle of Moms/POPSUGAR Moms community and membership database (you can read here for all the details). But, no, there’s no cash or other such prizes for this contest.

What do you get if I rank? Technically, nothing as I cannot give you anything to vote now or afterward for having voted. Sorry.
